1. Introduction

Welcome to LaneMerge. By accessing or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you differ with these terms, you may not use our services.

2. LaneMerge is a Venue

LaneMerge acts solely as a platform to connect driving students with independent driving instructors. We do not employ instructors, nor do we provide driving lessons ourselves.

• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the driving lessons provided.
• Any agreement for driving lessons is strictly between the student and the instructor.
• We do not control the schedule, availability, or conduct of instructors or students.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Instructors: You represent and warrant that you hold a valid verified driving instructor license and adequate insurance coverage for your services.
• Students: You represent that you are legally eligible to take driving lessons.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

LaneMerge supports in-app payments through third-party payment providers (for example, Stripe) for selected transactions, including premium subscriptions, individual lesson payments, and eligible lesson bundles.

• Payment confirmation is tied to the payment provider's checkout session status.
• Refund, cancellation, and payout outcomes depend on booking policy and payment lifecycle status (for example: pending, paid, refunded, or manual).
• Instructors and students can access payment receipts and history within the app where available.

Prices, fees, and subscription terms are displayed at checkout and may change with notice where required by law.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
• Post false or misleading information.

We reserve the right to ban any user who violates these rules or engages in unsafe behavior, at our sole discretion.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaneMerge creates no warranties regarding the service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or any interactions with other users.

Specifically, we are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or disputes arising from driving lessons arranged through LaneMerge.

7. Advertisements & Third-Party Content

The Service may contain advertisements and promotions offered by third parties and links to other websites or resources. LaneMerge is not responsible for the availability (or lack of availability) of such external websites or resources. If you choose to interact with the third parties made available through our Service, such party's terms will govern their relationship with you. LaneMerge is not responsible or liable for such third parties' terms or actions.

8. Changes to Terms

We modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
